Philippine Fashion Week - Spring Summer 2011

Last October 30, I got to be invited once more to the Philippine Fashion Week for their Spring-Summer Collection 2011. I think this is going to be a yearly thing for me, thanks to my sister & her connections. The Collections are so fresh, vivid, whimsical & modern.

First in line is Ms Alodia Cecilia's collection. Among all the collection, hers appealed to me the most. She used colors & fabric which are not difficult to wear. I can see one wearing her collections with people who are on the go. Whether its shopping, a weekend getaway, a night out or simply just an everyday wardrobe. With her collection, you can never go wrong.

Next is Ms Emily Sy. She is best known to design Wedding Gowns & Cocktail Dresses. I liked the mix of colors & textures of her collection. I also found an inspiration for a wedding motiff.

The next collection reminds me of fairies & whimsical creatures. Ms Joyce Pilarsky brought out the magic on the runway as she paraded her collection, embellished with intricate jewels & crystals. Not to mention those tropical flower inspired clothes - one would go say wow.

What caught my attention to the last collection are the accessories. These are one of a kind accessories made from ropes. Yes, its from ropes. To add flair, they used over sized bangles as an accent to those necklaces.

Shortly after the event. We still took some more photos for souvenir. Carrying our DSLR's, we rummaged through the crowd trying to wait for our turns to pose on the tarpaulins & models. (talking about being a camera-whore...haha!)

Till the next Phil. Fashion Week! I cant wait...

Froyo (Frozen Yogurt)

Froyo n. frozen yogurt. Let's stop at the store and get some froyo.

I never thought that dessert can be this yummy & healthy at the same time. For a few months now, I have been addicted to this delectable dessert called Froyo.

My quest to find the yummiest Froyo begins as I have scouted some parts of the metro, hoping to find the best froyo's in town.

What Im looking for a froyo is creaminess, a kick of sourness from an original Yogurt but has sweetness that my taste buds will surely love. I also like a wide variety of choices for the toppings. I mainly like fruits & berries.

These are so far the froyos I have tried:

White Hat's Health Nut Hat - Kiwi, Cranberries & Granola

Pancake House's Gurts with Honey Almond Cereals

White Hat's Bakers Hat - Blueberry & Cheesecake ( the best combo so far)

Teriyaki Boy's Yogato with Honey Almond Cornflakes

Harold & Cathy: The Wedding

And now the wait is over...It's official! Harold & Cathy tied the knots yesterday at Sta. Monica Parish Church in Mexico, Pampanga. I feel so honored to take snaps of this blissful wedding ceremony.

The wedding was very simple..solemn...relaxing --- Just Perfect!
